happ hoists

Hi Holdeners, Hope you all had a great xmas,
I am looking at a happ90 hoist, will fit in garage without moving beams too high.
Has anyone had anything to do with these hoists, can you bolt to 4inch concrete garage floor or do you need thicker concrete.
Cheers Peter.

sorry don't know how to link happ to here rather be in garage than on computer!

I wouldn't mount it to 4" thick concrete - but I would speak to them to ask what they suggest.

If you mount it to anything less than they spec your warranty (if it is new or lifetime) will be useless.

Cheers,

Webber

Check out youtube regarding the testing of some inferior hoists. Make sure whatever you buy is good quality (you will be under it, your pride and joy will be suspended on it).
Most of the no name hoists fail well under the rated lift capacity.
