floor pans

G'day holdenites I have just had my front floor pans replaced on my tonna and they look like they've only been tack welded in,does anyone know what the law is reguarding replacement floor pans? I thought they were supposed to be welded both side any help would be great.cheers

Spot welds should be spaced at a minimum of 20 mm
intervals over the lap joint area or as originally spaced
in manufacture, provided this does not exceed 20 mm.
Alternatively a continuous fusion weld may be applied
on one side and spot or tack welds at suitable intervals on the other.
Is what the standard says if that helps your cause if you read it they talk about overlapping the floor pans does that mean butting them and welding then all the way around is wrong?
