New drive line

Hey how is everyone got a quick question probably been asked but have just picked up a vn v8 auto need to know if my tail shaft , Aussie 4 sp will go in behind it I thought that t700 was same yoke but not sure about length thanks in advance

You'll need an adapter to put Aussie 4 speed behind a VN turbo pattern V8.
Also, th700 is approx 4 inches longer than trimatic/Aussie 4 speed so tailshaft will need shortening too.

Grab a vn T5 and clutch kit and get a custom tailshaft for overdrive (and will outlast the Aussie 4)

I read your post as though you have picked up a v8 auto box and want to use it in place of your Aussie 4 spd?
The engine to trans bolt pattern is probably wrong, if it is I'd recommend getting the block modified to accommodate the chev pattern, and NOT use an adapter plate.
As above tailshaft will need shortening, yoke should be the same.

Sorry for my poor write up but I have bought a vn regoed and running its auto was going to put eng and box in hq-z but thought tails haft could be kept emu has answered it by saying t700 is 4" longer than tri or 4 sp thanks for the responses guys
