Recommended Car Alarm.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend from experience a good car alarm system that is compliant with Aussie Insurance companies? I am after something with shock sensor and immobiliser.

I was thinking of going the Viper 5901 but it doesn't seem like it's compliant.

Also does anyone know if 3 point immobiliser systems work on Old Holdens? I thought it was starter, ignition, elect fuel pump (mine has no elect pump).

Regards,
Paul.

I have a mongoose m80 model, black wire insurance approved, works well and has all the features you would want inc multiple points of immobilisation.

Best to check with your insurance company first on specifics before you commit on model.
