V6 torana full conversion, 5 speed manual

V6 torana full conversion, 5 speed manual

Holden v6 manual conversion, for sale!
Price drop to $2,900

Complete conversion that has come out of my lx torana
This set up has taken me years to get it to the stage where i was happy
the only reason for selling is im looking to put a v8 in

This conversion includes,
-vp series 2 motor
-t5 manual gear box
-engine mounts
-radiator
-full wiring loom and computer with custom tune
-hand made ceramic coated extractors, chrome look.

Engine was fully rebuilt and has done only 10,000 kms since build as it is my sunday driver
Brand new parts were used throughout, pretty well stock inside with 30' thou over pistons
I have hand polished many parts on this engine including intake valley, throttle body, throttle body
elbow, alternator, tensioner pulley, coil pack bracket, thermostat housing, fuel rails and other small parts,
100's of hours were put into this, internals of intake and throttle body pieces widened for better flow

Blue silicon houses used where possible, also comes with blue 10mm topgun leads

The wiring kit is all there and was hand made not just clipped into a standard commodore one and all wires
hidden where possible.

The ecu was tuned at alpine performance and made 120kw at the wheels (dyno printout included)

The motor is still in the car and CAN BE SEEN RUNNING AND DRIVEN

* a few minor pieces aren't included like the air filter box and radiator brackets

Incredible car to drive with this set up!

Sounds very good (?)

Very impressive project there, mate!
Hopefully the exhaust work gives that normally tuneless motor the sound quality your car deserves :-)

Commo V6 fan mystery

What's the go with the radiator fan and cowling on those motors? They only have an electric fan, don't they? Then why the cowling to surround an imaginary engine-driven fan?

me shed...

Fan shroud

Fan shrouds also make good tool racks. As well as directing air flow for cooling.

Tryin to wear out before I rust out

Agreed!

If ONLY I could find one for an HK-T-G 6cyl. No such creature seems to be carried by anyone...!
