Getting the EJ Sorted

Slowly getting the bugs ironed out of the EJ. Have solved the rough running engine - a rebuilt carby from eBay has made all the difference. Only $160 fully rebuilt, beautifully done, looks like a new one. Car now much smoother on acceleration. Pulled the plugs after a long run, think I've got the mixture about right what do you reckon?

Still some vibration. At 70 mph muffler is rubbing on propshaft, and with the downpipe hard up against the mount it's time for a nice new stainless system.

Finally, will be getting the propshaft balanced with new UV's. Can anyone recommend a good place in Sydney for prop shaft balancing?

It staggers me that Posters have denied the possibility of white Centre Electrodes from HEI.

From what I've seen it's routine.

Holdenpaedia, they're the brakes Mate.

In the pic they look a little whiter than in real life. They are a nice light fawn brown color.

I pulled one out of a rough old single Honda I'd bought the other day; the ground electrode was literally worn down to the size of tie wire, but it still ran like a clock!
Your plugs look good, mixture must be ok.
