vacuum hose transmission

Hi Lads and Ladies
I think ive lost the vacuum seal my gears wont change, Question what saught of connection is it there the vacline tee's into the brass adapt
It looks fragile any idea's. I have put in a fat headed Bosch Distributor and disturbed something. Cheers Jeff

If there's a bit of rubber hose that's looking a bit suss, get some more from Burton's, repro etc, but I had the same problem in my VH a few years back. Turned out the vacuum line was blocked with crap, try taking it off and blowing compressed air through it.

if you are running a tri-matic, check the vacuum modulator on the box too. often the pipe would come out of the fitting, which is held in with a snug fitting rubber hose over the connection. the steel pipe fits into the connector on the module, and the hose keeps the seal and connection.
