Rodeo.....

OK...so helped a young bloke fix up his first car...TF Rodeo 4x4..all good.
He has a spare Rodeo for parts...no engine or tray and its now got the un-roadworthy bits off the good ute on it. Would make a great spotlighting rig....plus I have a few 202's lying round.
So....does any-one have an adaptor plate for a Holden 6 into a Rodeo. If you dont wish to sell thats fine...a few pics and measurements would be great, the young fella works for one of the local engineering joints.
Cheers,
Q-ball

cant imagine there would be too much demand for a holden pattern adapter to a rodeo transfer/gear box.
If they are around i think marks 4wd would know about them, i had a quick google and it seems they dont do anything for a rodeo at all.
Theres definately kits for V6 holden into rodeo but thats obviously a completely different pattern.

hmm.

I'd say dellow would make something suitable, you would just need to saw a couple of limbs off to pay for it. There are hundreds of land drovers with red sixes around so it can't be that hard.

Castlemaine Rod shop also does em' but for a spolighting rocket....no I like my limbs where they are :)
For an easy way out we may just pull the gear box and run rear wheel drive and an auto.

I had an '82 KB Rodeo 2L diesel as a project when I was about 14, I learnt to drive around the paddocks in it. It was just a basic one with no 4wd but I only ever bogged it once in a bit of a swamp. It was pretty gutless but it was a fair stump puller. One with a six in it would be pretty darn cool.
