Under the old fee structure it was $18.50 to list a car, and $45 sell fee, total of $63.50.
YOU CAN ACTUALLY SELL A CAR FOR LESS NOW THAN UNDER THE OLD FEE STRUCTURE.
If you want to sell a car for $50, put it in a $19.99 classified with no sell fee. Or list it as parts for $2.40 with a $3.50 sell fee.
I think you are whinging about sh!t.

Hey crazywrecker,
you asked what we reckon...if you don't like ebay don't use it.
At least you can deduct the ebay charges from your yearly tax bill I suppose.

I guess
I partly agree with crazywrecker. All other auctions you pay a percentage of the sale price not a fixed fee.

Ebay fees
I just sold a trailer and got free listing but sold it for $15oo with the "buy it now" button and that cost $100 in fees.
Better option
Just use Gumtree.com.au instead (or as I call it GumNut)wont cost you a cent and provided you DON'T post your mobile or email within the add desciption you shouldnt get spammed. Sold a car and heaps of stuff, no issues. Been a couple of years now but I wonder when they'll have to start charging fees???
gumtree is free for now until
