Yep, it'll fit...have a look through the sheds part of this site as I'm sure there's an EK with an RB in it in there.

As for costs...about $300 for the engine mount plates, gearbox crossmember and speedo cable, $200 for the VSS for the computer, $400 - $600 for a modified/new sump.

Also allow for a new radiator, wiring up the computer (a conversion wiring loom is about $750 so I'm doing my own....), converting your HR to cable throttle, shorten/modify tailshaft, mount and wire up fuel pump, run extra fuel-lines under car, mount liftpump in fuel tank (probably need this), mount VL filler neck in place of HR version, new exhaust with cat converter, engineer's certification (possibly, depending on State), modify floorpan for the shifter to come through (may have to move/replace some strengthening ribs under the floor), get speedo correction box so the speedo reads correctly and things like radiator hoses, bolts. nuts, clips, etc, etc.

I'm not trying to put you off (I'm doing the same conversion into an HQ ute), just trying to help you understand that it is not a small task. It can be made into a basically "bolt-in, plug-in" exercise, but will cost LOTS to do it that way.
