You know, I knew you'd say that..... I even thought about commenting on it at the time. I left it as an exercise to the reader to see if you picked up on it, I shouldn't have bothered.
The comment relates to the reply, not the original one word stupidity.
Never mind, it's really not important anyway as any reply you make is going to be like something from the village "idiot".
Thank you, come again.

Why not???
Wasn't there once a famous Holden show van that ran a Jag V12? Didn't everybody love it?
Stan, if you want to be different and have a little power under the bonnet, why not consider a quad turbo, supercharged, nitrous oxide boosted V10 from a Dodge Viper? Insanity is best done properly.

Yes, it was Alley cat.
Did you ever notice the way people stared when they noticed the FIVE legs on the big cat on the side of it?
The V10 should fit. Dodge got into a bike. :)

Ok,,, ther is such a beast guys.
The came out in a toyota, japan only limo called a Century.
They used to sell about 1000 a year.
They are like 2 six potters with a joined crank, they even run a ecu for each side of the motor.
They only produce 300HORSE but it was like 500nm or torque
I had a look at one at a jap wreckers a couple of years ago.
Nice motor, not real big in size, only 5l. Real interesting jigger.

Old is good.
You're thinking of "Alley
You're thinking of "Alley Cat" I believe. I seem to remember it was an HQ panel van ? They only *just* managed to squeeze the Jag engine in there.
The Dodge V10 engine idea is not realistic because it'd cost too much, would never get engineered and I doubt it would fit anyway.
A Twin Turbo Toyota V12 setup could be done for about the same sort of dollars as any other modified engine swap.
Rough figures but it could be done for under 8 grand easy.....probably a lot less.
It would give a "streetable" 500 HP engine with bucket loads of torque quite easily.
It's a realistic alternative to the cast iron dinosaurs most people use, possibly.
Low K's V12 engines can be had for a couple of grand these days, there's quite a few about.
alternative to cast iron
alternative to cast iron dinosaurs.. then why dont you buy an LS1? alloy block, alloy heads, 6bolt mains..
