Manifold & Carb Combo on the Premier

Evening All
Just after the general consensus on which Manifold and Carby would best suit a stock standard 253 red motor with extractors, electronic dizz
I have spoken to a few performance Retailers today and have been told many combo's.It will be a Sunday driver but i wouldn't mind maximising its power while
still having it economical on Cruises, any thoughts. Joneses

qjet on performer manifold,get an early qjet with the sideways fuel entry though.

Thanks for the replies my problem is the 2bbl I think ive tried 2 cheap dizzies (chinese) that i have returned i have purchased a holden HEI im yet to put on.
The thing wont hold revs the carb has been pulled down twice you have to choke the carby by hand to keep the revs up to say 2500rpm,so im want to change the
only 2 things thats left. Cheers

u have a huge air leak+

Get the wd 40 out and spray it around all manifold edges untill it bubbles and the moter runs better. That will be your air leak. Check brake vacuum fittings and dissy advance line. Classic leak sites on old cars.
