Does anyone want to sell, or know where I can get a hydraulic clutch Kit to put into my HK. I am installing a 186 with a "syncro" 3 speed. Victoria only.
Honestly mate, they are expensive and I don't know if it bother with it.
Better off taking the time to square away a good linkage set than paying over 400 bucks for a hydro. set up. You might be able to find a second hand one under 200 but I still can't justify spending that when a good linkage set up is just fine.
Unless you can't get parts to repair the mechanical or a complete mechanical set up, I'd give it a miss. I wasted a wad on a hydro for my HX V8. The clutch action was every bit as heavy..... Gained nought for my money outlay. Ended up removing it out of disgust
Dont know if this helps, but I have a full Rod Hadfields Hydraulic Clutch kit fitted to a HT Premier-
Slave bracketed to an M21 Four speed, and Im pretty sure same pattern fitup boltholes for 3 speed.
I am willing to offload the below items,as I am about to set a lot of my HT parts free, got a lot of GTS parts and speccy bits, and need to finance a HQ GTS resto....
Have 2 x Master cylinders (1 x Hadfield supplied and 1 x original PBR)
1 slave in good nick and hydraulic feed line
2 actuator pin pedal and box
all connecting bolts/spring
also have 1 slave i picked up along the way
would be happy to post
In my experience with this unit it worked very well, (and still does) I could not be stuffed replacing any more clutch cables, so decided to spend money and never looked back, as for comments on heavy clutch action, well I have only ever fitted H/DS clutch kits, so that was never an issue for me, fine tuning the slave and clutch drive pins are the key for peak performance
