looking at collector cars the other day,a lady was sitting on the front of a hz gts monaro.they never had a monaro badge on it,they were released as a gts only,so said holden.and then the same lady was squatting down next to a ss holden in brackets monaro.if it is a monaro fine,people should not put monaro to things that are not.it all comes down to the almighty dollar.cheers.

G day Im doing a HT Brougham up with a Group A block (308) and im not sure how much room I have between the carby and the standard bonnet. The intake is a Tourque Power - hi rise dual with a holley 750
Will it fit with a low mount air cleaner ? Has any one got any clues as the motor is built but not in the car yet and I dont want to modify the bonnet with the exception of removing some of the frame on the underside Cheers

Hi Everyone....

I've completed my V6 VS Ecotec conversion to my HR Van...
I wasn't happy with the vibration issues so I rebuilt the whole motor.. Guess what?.. the same problem...

Just disengaged the balance shaft to see how that would go...same vibration just over idle...the whole car shakes the steering wheel in particular..

I've tried different mounts..had the thing dyno tuned and all sensors are perfect..

Is there anyone in Brisbane with this conversion that maybe I could talk to or maybe have a look at their motor and mounts?

Does anyone do the long hq cowl rust repair panels I can only find the short ones. They have ones on eBay for hj-wb but I can't find long ones for hq. any help would be appreciated

hi, I am having a problem with my speedo cable, I replaced the speedo cable early this year all was fine then as i was drving along it slowly stopped working, I have also replaced the gear drive in the gearbox as well to no avail. Any help, hints, ideas, would be greatly appreciated

Hi have a vs commodore the radiator is being effected by electrolysis does any one know how to fix the problem. I have been told different things including that there is no such thing. I have had to replace the radiator twice in five months can keep paying out for new radiator some can some one offer any advice. Thanks

hey all got a problem with a friends vt v6 commo, i know its not old but im kinda stuck and you guys always offer good advice and have helped me alot in the past! the problem is that the engine is overheating, theyve replaced most of the usual culprits, but the strange part is the fans arent turning on properly but when they do they wont switch off again, even when the car is off, this has me stumped! the only thing i can think is either the module for the thermos, the relays, or the thermostat switch!

any help would be great!
