Pedal box
New to the forum ...... Looking to put swinging pedals in my FJ . It has HR front end and discs but I want to upgrade the pedals and move to master cylinder booster combo. So appreciate advice on what type of pedal box how mounted and so on. Fair to say I've got no idea !cheers

PEDAL BOX
Hi mate,
i'm running a HR pedal setup with HQ master cyl. and remote vh44 under the dash(to give a bit more room in the engine bay)
Hr pedals are very easy to fit.
for an inline booster, i have seen gemini boosters used before and vt too.
Thanks - presently have vh44
Thanks - presently have vh44 on inner guard linked up to standard fj master. Last night the clutch linkage broke (metal fatigue) so I'm over the original set up and daily leg press and pedal travel. Also heard commodore using master-booster combo but need to keep it simple as I'm not that great with the tools.

Outside the square.....
You can get pedal box and master cylinder/booster setups for Mustangs that are made to fit everything under the dash. The idea is so you can a smooth firewall with nothing in view on show cars.
One of these might be adaptable to the FJ. It wouldn't be cheap, but it would be all together and tidy.
Just a thought.

Old is good.

Pedal box for FJ solved
I have gone HK pedal box with lengthened pedals. Mounts to firewall and the dash support. Without modification. Next is chydraulic clutch thanks to Dellow who suggested speaking with Hoppers Stopper who advised WB ute booster and brake cylinder combo. The WB ute had drum rears and proportioning valve built in. Can remove later for discs all round. Thanks forr the ideas

Now the clutch and brake
Sourced the pedal box and hydraulic clutch (Dellow with old school service) now the brake booster - looking for vh374 off a wb ute disc front drum rear. People just want me to buy what they have rather than what I ask or what I need. In short HK pedal box to HR disc front and drum rear......... Options?
Cheers
