202 Pistons

Any one know much about the quality of Hypatec and Endurotec pistons please? A friend in the UK is looking at getting a 202 (red motor) rebuilt and he is having a bit of trouble sourcing pistons. He can get the ones listed above but can't find much info on them.
The size he will be using are plus 0.030"

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Mick.

Well, I'd rebuilt a 3.3 black motor about 12 years back with endurotec hypatec pistons, at 60thou oversized. Had that with a large cam and triple SU carbies. Engine held up rather beautifully and was no dramas at all. Bore wear was minimal. Hypatec pistons have increased sillica content, and are designed to aid against heavy bore wear. Seemed good to me and I'd use them again.

I'd rather drive my old holden than a new ford!
