"If your car has quarter vents, a diff at the back, and was available with wind-down windows, you may talk to me.
Otherwise I am not interested. Amen."

Bryan

LOL Bryan even thats fancy block of wood usually around my joint, The funny thing is, i think i got the chocks years ago when i picked up a set of ramps from a kerbside collection pile was sorta a oh may as well take them type deal, and all of them ever since have been buried in the back of a lean to at the back of one of my garden shed that i keep my Tear drop in, Lately though it has been at my other shed, so the lean to has become home to all that gym and exercise equipment that was desperately needed because we will use it all the time. some spare shelves a whiteboard, a stack of vintage pub chairs, an industrial pedestal fan, etc etc so its a space i haven't visited in almost a year, it was only when i saw a wanted ad for the chocks that i started thinking about them, i remember somehow one of them ended up kicking around the back of my drive through carport to chock the big gate open, and had been last seen in and around a group of pot plants in that same area, but of course now i wanted it it was not to be seen, but it possibly went along with a pile of rubbish i also stacked in that area about 6 mths ago before several tip runs, the second, well it was just in the lean to, LOL let me describe this lean to, its a solid built roof off the garden shed and attaches to the fence as well, given that my timber teardrop was going in there, i made it pretty weather tight. the back wall is formed by an old tilta door at maybe a 30 deg angle leaning up against it, all except maybe a metre cap at the rear it was near this gap where the said ramps and chock was. Just outside that gap was a bunch of Banana trees, now as some of you know, banana trees generate lots and lots of ground litter from dropped leaves etc, this is what i found in that little alcove where the ramps where, LOL literally buried, i had to dig through what seemed a whole ecological cycle of the planet to find the one remaining "Nasco " wheel chock LOL and that was after i had moved most of the current inhabitants of the lean to, mainly the exercise equipment LOL, so what started of as a quick duck down the back to grab that chock, turned into an hour long mission, bit like how this started as a quick reply and turned into a novel LOL so now my 1 wheel chock has been united with the 1 wheel chock of the seeker, to make a pair for his car show displays LOL

You should’ve charge (the new owner of chock) labour, it could’ve ran into hundreds for the retrieval efforts. I spend most of my time looking for things to do a job. A simple quick job turns into a half dayer or more even when I give up looking and go and buy more of/replacement of said missing items, then you find it a week later. Or I abandon the project/job and move onto a new one. Is it any wonder my darling bought me a tee shirt with “King of the unfinished project “ on it.
