Riveted OH rims

Hi Folks,
I bought some old Holden 13" rims from a garage sale. One of them has the centre held onto the rim with big rivets from the inside. Anyone seen these before? Are they heavy duty, or just old school?
Cheers Dave

Thanks Lindsay,
Are they stronger or less stronger than the welded ones?

I have an old Chev which probably weighs twice an FJ, with riveted rims. Never seen one pop a rivet yet. Probably stronger, but they went to welding because it was cheaper.

Otherwise I am not interested. Amen."

someone here told me years ago they welded the rims to clear the disk when hr disks started? I think the rivets hit the disk

Rebodied? when did it become legal to swap the tags?

The date inside the rim reads 5/61, so I assume they're from an FB?
