FJ Holden Power Brakes

Hi I am thinking of either changing the drum brakes on my 1954 FJ to either power boosted or a disc brake conversion. Any ideas on either would be appreciated.
Thanks Bryan

to put discs on you will need to update the front end to a HR disc front end
to boost them you'll need to fit a vh44 booster

Please use, Holdenpaedia will get the first box on the left side. Post any suggestions.

If it's a club car or not driven fast I'd just get a booster for the brakes.
As said above, putting discs on will require a HR front end or a conversion kit on the FJ stubs (If you can find one) Then you will need to upgrade the back brakes to suit the discs (this is usually done by fitting an EH or HR rear end. Either way you will need an engineer's certificate, which is fairly expensive.
