HJ front end alignment issue

Hello, I have just replaced all front end steering and braking components and the drivers side wheel now sits on an angle when the steering wheel us straight.... at first I thought this was just a simple wheel alignment fix, but the more I look at it, it could be a wrongly adjusted tie rod on the drivers side?

Do you guys think I should remove the tie rod and shorten the length to pull the wheel straight?
Thanks

Drop the car on the ground ?
Drive the car around the block a couple of times ?
Try that for starters. AL

FJ Sedan, FJ Ute, all Steel.

if the above doesn't settle things ..I'd loosen the inner and outer tie rod lock nuts and adjust the rod to get the wheel straight...run a string line and adjust F and R of wheel to be straight as a reasonable starting point..

Thanks Andrew, that was the news I was afraid of... loosening those castle nuts and pulling off the tapered tie rod is not one of my favourite things to do. Any advice or tips to make the job easier? I don't have a ghost.

good news you may not need to remove the tapered tie rod end bit, this may be able to be adjusted out by un doing the 2 lock nuts for the tie rod end onto the tie rod then simply turning the middle section of the tie rod arm to shorten or lengthen the arm

that's what I'd try to adjust the toe in....it does look significantly out...if you straighten that driver's F wheel - where does it leave the steering wheel and the passenger wheel? Could both sides be out - in need of adjustment and the steering wheel adjusted?
Do the pitman and idler arms look to be aligned correctly for straight ahead?

nah, I'm an electrical engineer..(trade in Radio/electronics and degree in electrical engineering (power))..so maybe with that confession any info I provide should be treated with great caution!...but the son of a retired plumber! So I had my time digging trenches for drains by hand and stacks of roofing...plumbers used to do a lot of roofing work...don't think they do as much these days..?
