The track is much wider. Becuase of the wider track, the pitman arm on the steering probably won't line up with the track rod.
You couldn't use EH steering becuase it wouldn't be wider enough.
The subframe mounts will be wider spaced than an EH, which would create major problems.
The front outrigger will be different.
You will have to move the engine mounts.
If you want to improve the front end the hard way, but get the best result, put and LH/LX/UC Torana front end in it.

Old is good.

the best option is use a HR front end
as stated above the hktg front end is too wide
as for torana front end it too still requires more mods to fit than a HR front end
