Holden Gm torquemaster mc6 gearbox

Hi, I have a Holden GM Toquemaster MC6 Gearbox and I don't know what model car it's from. I had a couple of Toranas, but I had a VC Commodore Wagon too. I'm not sure if it's for a 6cyl or a 4cyl. Codes GM 92005999 COHAB, 9299678 HJ. Was told it was an MC6. Please help me out, really doing my head in. Thanks Damo.

Torquemaster was common on uc torana as well as vh-vk commodore. My factory VK actually still has the torquemaster in there for the moment. They were often fitted to 4cyl starfires as well as holden sixes, so can't help you there...

I'd rather drive my old holden than a new ford!

I used to own sometime ago a vc sedan with a 1.9l starfire that also had the torquemaster. I'm sure that was factory also.
