anyone tried these..........
was looking for a rebuild kit approx $80
and found these.....
they look the goods.........

I recently got one & HQ308 had kitted it for me, he also machined the mounting face on it & turned a couple of alloy dows to help hold the pins in place.
So far so good, touch wood.

after watching a few vidoes online with instructions for the kit it seems like a bit of a drama to get the valves out of the top of the pump and then the new ones back in......so i have bitten the bullet and ordered one of these.........see how we go i guess

Bryan

the AC type pumps can be a bit of a hassle to change the valves
the GOSS pumps had a bracket with 2 screws holding the valves in much easier to re kit than the AC pumps
i've run the older pumps with no problem using unleaded fuel
the pumps are very basic to rekit them

Fuel pump valves aren't really that hard to change. First take note of the way they are fitted then use a punch to knock them out from behind (They will most likely get damaged in the process) Then tap the new ones in carefully and stake them in with a centre punch. Just make sure the new valves go in the same way as the ones you take out.

thats from the same company (PTZ) that has the fuel pump so i am assuming if the kits ok then the new pump should be of the same quality.
