Are you fitting an LS1 to a WB One Tonner ?

If you are, the best fuel pump & reg to use is a complete Commodore fuel pump module assembly from a VTII to VX.

I sell a weld ring kit which you weld into the top of your fuel tank (after cutting the hole) & the pump module fits straight in. The reg is incorporated into the pump & there is only one line out. Very simple, no surge tank or external pump required.

Wish I new that when I did my TPI Chev, we did the catch can in the boot thing and external pumps
(19 years ago mind you, my blue plate is dated 10/04/2000

Dr Terry’s is a much easier way to go, Milne is “Old School” injection and I think it suits it in a way, The LS1 to me looks a little out of place BUT mine you people are doing the 4 barrel and manifold to still get that old school looks and you have to look twice

The set up Dr Terry describes doesn't work very well in a sedan tank as the module is deeper than a sedan tank. You need to add a sump to the tank for it to work. One tonners, utes and vans have a deeper tank and it works well with them.

My Archived Shed

Yeah, the fuel module works well on HQ-WB Utes, Vans & One-Tonners, but not sedans, coupes or wagons.

With sedans & coupes I just fit a complete VN-VS V8 tank & pump. I get a radiator guy to solder the HQ-WB petrol filler tube to the Commodore tank.

Believe it or not it fits straight in place of the original tank, the only mod required is longer bolts for the mounting straps. I used threaded rod, worked well.
