Back in the 70's our group had quite a collection of now desirable vehicles, a good mate had a white HR Panel Van, windowless, it was lowered and had a set of 8" chromies on it, also had triple CD stromberg carbs like the XU1, bucket seats and a 4 speed box. How times have changed we would pile 4 or so in the back, sitting on the floor, no safety belts, and head off in it, went quite well performance wise back then. The red one pictured above should come up well, nice score.

The HR van brought back memories for me too. My mates older brother had one similarity described as the one you mentioned. Most of my mates and I didn’t have our licences yet but we’d kind of borrow it and cruise the main still in a smaller outer western town. He’d always know though and threaten to knock our blocks off. Somehow it was parked different than how he left it, oh and we’d leave takeaway food wrappers in it.
