Holden hr leaf springs

Hi,need clarification on the number of leaf springs that are suppose to be on a standard HR special sedan ,the vehicle was fitted with a tow bar which a have removed and I'm not sure of the small leaf Spring is supposed to be their ?(letter E), Any help would be appreciated ,cheers

Thanks ,looks like it's not suppose to be there ,could have been dealer fitted for the tow bar that was on it

a HR Standard sedan with original suspension - mine only has 4 leafs..so one less than the pic in the bible! but aligned to the table which shows 4 for a 215 which is the same as a 225..so a Special sedan would have had 4 as a standard (maybe a H/D option?)

From my understanding HD/R sedans had 4 leafs, wagons had 5 & commercials had 6.
