HK Matching numbered car or not

I have a hk with a 307 and want to know if it is a matching numbered vehicle.

I guess you mean is it original donk to that particular car? There is no format to check other than the original purchase documents or the owners log book which both should have the engine number in them.Other numbers are the carb, manifold, gearbox, etc etc etc

I believe it should have a 307 prefix on the engine number if it was a 307 originally fitted to a Holden..

Should start with 307 then another 5 digits then k then another 4 digits if it was a holden engine

That id not the engine for that car, 3071951 was originally fitted to a car from the Sydney plant and your car was built in Brisbane.

Also the engine number corresponds to a car built a long time after yours.

K1252 is wrong, that is a date and this would mean built on the 52nd of December.

Your car is a Brisbane build and that engine was originally fitted to a Sydney built car.
