I am wanting to change my engine mounts on my EJ, have changed the front one before but never the rear ones. I don't have any means of lifting the engine, can it be done by jacking up the engine from underneath and using blocks of wood.
Anyone know the procedure?

yes you just need to take the
yes you just need to take the load (weight) off the mount you are changing - so you can easily undo the bolts...using a jack and piece of timber is fine...nothing special...just make sure you have the car well supported when getting underneath if elevated - do not rely on a jack

Make sure you use hardwood preferably 100x50 not a fence paling, or you may damage the sump.
