Grey motor pulley

Is the grey crankshaft pulley preferred installation tool the BFH? (extremely large hammer)
I also need to make a removal tool. Anyone know the thread which is inside the pulley?

depends which type you have the original used a different
puller to the later RED conversion type
if it has the later red conversion type then you need
a red motor puller
there is a installing tool for both
but if its a one off job you can use a piece of wood and a large hammer to put them on

Yeah, as stated. If it’s a one off, block of wood and hammer. Don’t strike the pulley directly with the hammer, though. The wood works as insulation/insurance.👍

The one I have is the original grey motor pulley. The thread on the inside is fairly big, but that's the one I need to know. 1" Whitworth maybe?
