HQ GTS Coupe badge positioning

Hello all,
I have a slight problem. I have a HQ coupe I have been doing up for years now and finally it is ready for paint. Problem being the panel beater has welded up all the holes for the badges on the guards and the boot. When I questioned him on this he said it was standard procedure and he did it to all old cars (his defence was a lot of the time older cars badge holes weren't right anyway, I guess possible). He has also welded up the holes for the mirrors on the doors as well (pedantic!!). Now the mirrors are not really a problem as I also have an LS coupe I can refer to for the position of the holes, however I have nothing to refer to for the positioning of the GTS badges on the boot and guards and also the V8 badge on the boot. As the car is already in high fill I do not particularly want to rub it back and try to find the spot welds as this will starting the whole paint process from the beginning again. If anyone has some measurements for the location of the holes that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time Anthony.

Hi I am wondering on the placement of some external badges for an HQ GTS Monaro... Do you have specifications saying exactly where the badges go by any chance? and I mean measurements not guestimates for rear bootlid guards etc. ??
Thanks
