HZ Engine No Identification

Hi,
I recently purchased a HZ sedan which seems to be untouched by the one owner. I am curious to see whether the 202 is relative to the build date of the car. If someone could decipher or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Build date on tag: 09-78
Engine No. QL7xxxxx
Engine date stamp: 6Dx (either a 6 or 8, need to remove oil filter)

the number after the D will be the year - D is April, the first number being the day of the month, so most likely the number after the D will be an 8 to represent 1978...

Thanks Andrew, is the sequence QL7 and engine date of April, too early for a car built in September?

6 months does seem a bit long between engine casting and car build date...but I'm not sure. I would think it reasonable to be within a week to a couple of months..but factors like casting in batches, engine building, where the car was built compared to the engine and so on...hopefully someone who has worked in the factory may be able to answer..I'll have a look at my engine when I can - to see if I can get the cast date and compare to build date of car- as it's the original engine - it may be just another data point and not a useful guide as its a 308 WB... possibly some others could advise as well...best comparison would be other 6cyl HZs made at same factory...ps just tried to have a look at my engine cast date in car and it was too hard to see anything with everything in the way..hopefully someone else can provide some advice.
