solvent for factory glue

gday all,

can any of you boys pls tell me the solvent that dissolves the greeny-yellow glue/adhesive stuff that sticks the door's plastic membrane to the inner door?

it's a factory glue for sure. I wonder what the stuff is? it's incredible stuff but gawd it's really annoying trying to get the sh** off.

I think it's the same stuff they use on beer slab box ends.

i've tried metho, turps, prepsol, ..even bluddy kero! no go.

i'm gonna use wurth 'daboff' to stick it back on with.

ta.

we use to use a product called "Tardis"
from a company called "Autosmart" used in the car detailing and panel beating industry.(you can buy on line from them)
I have used this myself and this is good stuff for glue and tar removal esp that pin-striping glue
Im surprise kero didn't remove it ?
