Andrew

when i was a kid, i had a dragster "chopper" push bike with longer front forks
(2 sets) and a small wheel in the front.
Was a bit of a hand full to steer going down the big hill out near our place BUT was a lot of fun.
ANYWAY lol not sure about steering that going down the same hill at 10 times the speed lol. there was a sharp coner at the bottom of the hill.
Stay safe all

growing up in the 70s we all had dragsters until we got old enough and had racing bikes...often the dragsters were modified with extended front forks...one of my mates even had a rear disk brake on his bike which was a novelty...the days of speckled banana seats, sissy bars...cow horn or ape hanger handle bars and T bar gear shifters (3 speed)...good fun...and no helmets! ps I should point out that was the boys....and my blue dragster had white wall tyres Al ! My sisters bike had a basket on the front and what may have been some kind of spats on the rear wheel...they were different coloured strings that went from the mudguard to near the axle that provided some multi coloured spat like thingy...WTF...no boy would be seen dead near anything like that....pps I just learned something these stringy kind of spats was actually a skirt guard...so there you go....maybe a role for spats as well...to keep your skirt or kilt getting caught up in your rear wheels lol
