Price to cover a Bench Seat

wondering if anyone has recently had a new vinyl cover put on their bench seat and if so what sort of price they paid or considered reasonable...currently looking around at getting my HR front seat done (just one colour) as close as possible to original...after I had some seat repairs conducted the old vinyl cushion couldn't handle the stress any more and split...

I payed $1200 for a full set of Houndstooth SS seat skins and put them on myself.

thanks that seems quite good...I'm getting quotes of about $1000 in SA and Vic to supply full bench cover only...so about half that for each section and about double for F and R.

I'm in Adelaide...seems that some people have the patterns and ability to vinyl weld the lines into the material and many don't...mine is a standard so not as common as Special - which there would be more demand for...I'm agonising about getting just the cushion (which has split) or the whole seat - being a tight arse (gov worker)...the benefit of the whole seat is that the two sections will be exactly same...the original colour isn't available - there are 2 very close - one is from an EH and the other a VH commodore..the VH is actually a bit closer in various lighting conditions and the grain is closer than the EH material....I'm thinking I might have to bite the bullet and part with $1000 just for the cover...not worried about putting it on....

$1000 is more than fair & if you're in South Aussie, I would advise you to contact Winner Products in Adelaide.
Fitting pre made covers is best left to a trimmer as he repair or the foam & spring work.

Thanks for the reply - around $1000 or just below seems to be the going price...I can get the cover fitted - about $120 for cushion or $200 for the complete cover - so all up it would be about $1200...Not a lot of trimmers around these days compared to say 30 years ago and most are well booked out 3-6 months in advance
