When was my EH wagon made??

You guys are the ones to ask I reckon or at least point me in the right direction.

Body/Chassis No EH62862M (I know the EH bit and the M is for Melbourne, but the numbers are something else) Isn't there a rule about starting their builds at 10001? or something like that? Engine Number of the 149 is H817133. I an all good with trim codes and the like.

Anything would be a help fellas

Where did that number come from?
Is it on the little tag under the body identification plate.?
The number on the body identification plate should start with EH 219, 229 or 239 depending on whether it was Standard, Specisl or Premier, then have the body production number followed by the M, which identifies where the body was made, which isn't necessarily where the car was assembled.
A production serial number that high would probably be mid 1964, considering that there were several plants building the EH.

Old is good.

The number is stamped in the drivers side engine bay, I know it was made in Melbourne I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out the date and day and even the time apparently it is possible form that series of numbers.
