crazy way people drive and walk across the road etc...gee we are disciplined and self controlled in comparison...no wonder at that time people that drove the horseless carriages were a bloody scourge!. Not long before this footage the UK and US had the red flag laws inc the following law in Pennslyvania which got vetoed by the governor..."all motorists piloting their "horseless carriages", upon chance encounters with cattle or livestock to (1) immediately stop the vehicle, (2) "immediately and as rapidly as possible ... disassemble the automobile", and (3) "conceal the various components out of sight, behind nearby bushes" until equestrian or livestock is sufficiently pacified..." lol

I've driven a 32 Ford flathead v8 unrestored and registered with linkage brakes and the don't stop real good.

They have more power than you would think as well.

I drove a 4cyl 27 Chev tourer years ago and I was surprised at the amount of torque it had.

Meany moons ago I had a 32 Hi Boy I was going to hot rod, A fellow member of the ADF new i had it, bought it of me as i was being deployed to Desert storm (tour of duty 2).
On my return he had RESTORED it and ask if I wanted a drive Had a V8 Flathead in it tho, My hat goes of to him for his 10 months of hard work
