Sounds a bit like one an old bloke up here bought new. His had a Premier front on it but it was a Kingswood or Belmont with a white roof over Nutmeg.
Back then you could order anything if your salesman was keen or you knew the right people.

Old is good.

In the 70s HQ and HJ you could order just about any up grade (at a price)
My dear old dad's HJ prem was ordered with a GTS dash, BUT not the steering wheel ? ? why because it had the lower section of the dash(radio area and heater controls) with the wood grain to match the inner section of the steering wheel .along with a factory fitted toe ball( i changed the steering wheel of corse, it just did'nt look right)
I have seen at a Holden show where a HQ holden prem left the factory and plated with a 202 6cly was up grated to a V8 before it left the show room floor. The gentleman had all the paper work to prove this, as he wanted that colour V8 prem, it was a gold colour with a vinyl roof

Thanks for the help much appreciated
It's a kingswood with out the top colour on it
Now that I know I can make it as close as I can to be what it was new,
My dad has owned it for almost 20yrs and it deserves to go back to original so I can experience the joys of how they use to be as daily drives

Good on you for keeping it original.
I love a good modified car, but I hate to see a good original car ruined with modifications.
I've always believed that if you want to modify a car you should start with one that needs a bit of love.
We got our EH Nathan was 14 and he wanted to restore it to original, but when we realised the whole manual floor had been cut out and replaced with an automatic floor (this was surprisingly common back in the days when you could buy an EH out of a paddock for $25) he decided that we would have some fun with it instead of restoring it to original.

Its always refreshing to see an "Old Holden" in its original
form lol. . . even if it is a sleeper lol
My dad brought home the "NEW LOOK" HJ Holden prem in our neighbour hood (i was only young then) an at the time it was a big deal back then when you bought a new car.
I love seeing restored cars to there former glory, and some that have been tweaked to be a little more "friendly" for road use for today. . . eg air-con and smoother ride lol
