Classic Car/Holden Auction

Just found on the net, Pickles auctions are having a classic car auction at the Gosford Classic Car Museum on the 28 Oct. Had a look thru the cars, bit of everything, some nice old holdens, but I'd say way out of the average persons pricing, though the HG 350 Monaro would look nice in my garage. If anybody in that area is going, be nice to know what some of the cars go for. If you want to check out the inventory, just go to Pickles.com.au. Sorry for not putting up the link.
Cheers,
Dave

Mate, it's always the way isn't it, probably better off that way, might be tempted to buy something.

Something strange going on with that place, many of those cars are the best things they've got, rarely seen cars that would be drawing visitors in. They've been relisting other cars on ebay for ages because the reserves are unrealistically high, just like most of the cars in their for sale section at the museum.

The whole idea of Gosford museum was that he would sell cars.
He set it up with everything for sale so there would be a constant turnover of cars which would give you a reason to go back again and see something different.
He's had cars there that are also listed at places like Duttons in Melbourne and the Classic Throttle Shop in Sydney.
It's a great museum, but some his cars aren't in concourse condition.
I think I'd have the 911R if had the money.
