HT Wagon Seat Belts

G'day,
I am about to fit Lap sash ( non retractable) belts to my HT wagon. I was hoping someone who has done this might ba able to offer up some tips or even photo's if possible. I have removed the back seat to find 2 captive nuts. Not sure if they were meant for belts or not but my main concern is the pillar. any advice would be greatly appreciated

yes the nuts in the floor were for seat belts, you should also find some near the base of the pillar for the "outer part of the belts.
even as far back as EH Holden had these nuts in the cars,

for the upper pillar, many people have used special crushless bolts but im not sure on the legality of them

I suspect that there may even be nuts on the pillars under the trim in your wagon??? something tells me from 71 onwards they had to have them so probably were fitted well before then

yeah all new cars made 1964 onwards had to have seat belt anchor points fitted and somewhere around very late 60's belts also had to be fitted but wearing was not mandatory until very early 1970's and not all states adopted at the same time , I think Victoria was first ( Worst drivers maybe :) )
