HT Ute rear windscreen

Greetings all - about to refit my HT ute rear windscreen with a new rubber.
Just wonder if it's best to put the d-mastic on the outside of the rubber itself or put it on the car body before fitting?
Any advice or other tips appreciated.
cheers

Fit the rubber to the glass, then onto the body without any mastic (dry) and then push the mastic cartridge tip in between the rubber and the body (outside) and inject the mastic last. Work your way neatly around the rubber. Just inject until you see the rubber swell out and that should be enough, otherwise it'll be too much and end up all over the bodywork.
