Holden Fuel pump

Hi I have a VN Holden 3.8 v6 fitted into my Bedford Van, it retains the bedford Fuel Tank. I need to replace the Fuel Pump and filter, but not sure what has been used( photos attached) I know it is from a Holden but not VN? looks more like a EFI VK Fuel Pump, mount and Dampers? Can anyone help out as to what Holden it is from, seems to work fine in this setup, as per the photo the Fuel tank has two lines coming from it , so take it, one is a return line and also looks like some kind of regulator as well?. Thanks...

It's hard to tell from the photo, it could be a VK pump but it's probably easier to take the pump to a good parts shop and have them match it up. There's probably even a universal pump that'll work.

What ever you do please change those rubber hoses, that's a fire waiting to happen.

a vk vl external pump would do it yours is most likely a vk vl pump hard to tell from the pic but it looks like the filter is between the tank and the pump on the commodore its after the pump you might want to replace the filter also. Remember to buy efi fuel hose and not get tricked into cheap fuel line thats not efi rated.
Would the way that pump is mounted be considered road worthy?

Keep giving the country away grandpa suck that yank off give something else to a gook.

VK and VN pumps are interchangable but don't look like that and the mount is different ...

Holdenpaedia, they're the brakes Mate.

Early VN's, particularly the V8 had an external high pressure fuel pump (same as VL type pump) and an internal lift pump. What you have there coild be an external from a VN but the picture is hard to see.

You're right. It has a Damper and not a regulator.

The other device is a fuel filter.

Different mounts? Didn't they come with cable ties and insulation tape?
