G'Day Mate, do you reckon you could Post here or email the contact details of your Wheel Guy by any chance, or maybe an Email/ Web Address?

I used to recommend Wilson's Wheel Works but as I understand it they are now long gone, and I have a feeling I will need to chase a different style/PCD of Wheel to fit the Torana front end I am using in my Hotrod, the Mags I have are 16x8 for the front and 17x8 for the rear, but running Commodore pattern on the front seems to involve far too many complications for my likings of late... :{/

G'day oinks308, I've just send you an email with the details you asked for. I have bumped into one of the V8 supercars team guys at the wheel shop, they were picking up some wheels. snow

Hey there Oinks.
(I posted this info with pic the other day, but just found this thread and figued you might find this easier right here!)
I had my 14x5" original HK rims modded into 15x6" by a mob on the Gold Coast. They may well be able to help you out too.

I found Noel to be a very decent auto biz proprietor. Clear explanation, on-time completion, competitive pricing and high quality work.

Good luck!

P.S. Sorry RatJ - only painted, not chromed so didn't get prices for chrome work... These babies were expensive enough as they were!

'i'm definately shore that guage wont work with my tuff bango diff and Opal sydcrome box,if it goes though my grill,and I put the breaks on I realize its better with the glimer belt & tunned holly and Ederbrock duel feul webber gaurds, wiht etc primmer.'

Thanks Guys, Snow, I had to reformat over the weekend and lost your email, if I recall correctly it was the same info as HKing's info, yes?

When I can finally work out which way I am going with the front Suspension setup, IF I cannot run my Commodore PCD ROH Reflex 16x8" & 17x8" Mags I will be looking most likely at getting a set of 17x8/9" & 16x7" Rims made up using the Commodore PCD for the VTII IRS, but with a suitable offset and user friendly PCD up front so as to clear the front Control Arms and K-Frame Crossmember... I plan on running a 6-Wheel option running a Spare in each front Guard so I will be able to afford to run two different PCD Rims, a cheat maybe but works for me if that’s the way it runs… :{D

I have to get the Wheels and Tyres sorted on a rolling Chassis first up so as I know where to set the Guards to begin building the Boat Tail Bodywork between them, this way everything will be built to suit the proportion and rake of the Wheels and Tyres which is how I view building something to look correct when finished instead of looking half arsed and compromised... ;{D

I have bookmarked a Site someone threw up here I think it was, from a Company that makes Custom Billet Wheels, if I cannot run my Commodore Rims these would be my pick of the bunch of what is available out there if I could swing them into making up 17" and 16" Rims;
Tasman Billet Rims that look just like the old Tasman Mags from the 60’s… Hmmmm Nice!! :{D

Does anyone have a recent price of how much it cost to get a set of 4 wheels made up, including the chroming of bot he centres and the hoops before welding, please. I'm trying to ascertain as to whether it's worth me starting the process of finding hte right standard rims etc to get it done..
