Quick Question?

Just found a six blade fan to suit a 6 cylinder in my grandfathers shed, was just wondering if it would any difference if I put this one on instead of the 4 blade? The car has never had any troubles with overheating.

I think you will find that a good six blade fan will be much better balanced and should not rob any power. quite the opposite. Also the six blade tended to decrease wear on water pump bearings and ask anyone that has had a pump let go- not a fun experience. About 20 years ago my second road car was a HK Monaro. Half way accross the top end at 110MPH and peices of fan through the bonnet and radiator.
