hi,i,m leaning towards inch 5/32 but just need to be sure as the the recoer is going to charge me heaps.the part no he,s got are the 1.28 " approx 33ml,inch 9/32 part no bxgv-2 and the other is 1.43" 36.5ml,inch 7/16 part no bxv-2.both of these seem too large.what motor are you using yours on regards rod

sounds like i,m chasing the 5/32 or 7/32 .you mentioned your cam size,i love the rough idle bit do you know at what point in the specs this comes in ,and still ok to street drive.i think polishing your intakes will make a big difference, done it to a motorbike once and it was a freak, just went really well.let me know how you go (lexy@westnet.com.au)from the measurements i,ve got i have 9/32 carbs so i,m still on the hunt for the right carbs.can the 9/32 carb,s be jetted back to 5/32 size just wondering if i could get away with it that way.

hey snow,be sure and send a photo when you get your bits back.while i,m gathering info on the twins i think i,ll get a 186s carb and maniold(the water cooled 2 barrel)recoed and try it most people say there ok ,it,s got to be better than the 350 holley thats on it now.can you enlighten me on the cam specs ,what does the 30 and the 70 stand for.would it be lift on the intake and exhaust?what exactly is legal on our rig ,a 78 hz. bye for now Rod

g,day snow,i got on to a web site a while back and asked about a cam and they recomended a 35/71 or 71/35(don,t know the diff)for our 186,3 stage yella terra with a manual g,box.do you know if solid lifters are the go ,a mate of mine recons they make a real difference as opposed to the hyd ones.if i am going to buy anti-pump lifters as some have suggested i might as well just go solid ,what do you think?ps, did you have a look for that old stromberg carby book i,ve stalled on the twin set up.bye for now Rod.

T, there are a couple of pics of a very original X2's motor in the PC11 Shed. I basically took them for you to use in Holdenpedia.

The column linkages are in an EH but will be the same as all Crash boxes...
