Im after a floor selector neutral safety starter switch to suite a 3 speed transmission. Seems the old power glide selector has been modified to work with the 3 speed trans however the old neutral position is now drive. I'd be happy to borrow one if needs be to get the car registered. I'm not even 100% sure a 3 speed switch will solve my problems.

Im in a bit of a pickel, I need the drive arm for a lucus wiper motor to suite HK-T-G ASAP! If anyone in the Brisbane area or Brisbane northside has one I can borrow or buy, or knows of anyone who may have one Please let me know. Im using the car for my wedding on this comming saturday and would like the wipers to work properly just in case we need to use them.
I have been given the wrong arm, it off a HJ and neither of us new they were difrent at the time. any help would be greatly apriciated.

If anyone in the Brisbane to Sunshine coast area has a car trailer they can lend me for about a week in mid to late August Id be forever greatful, I'll be getting my car back from the painters and will need to move it about the place to get the exhaust and other such things done. I'll be on to tight a buget to hire one for the time i will most likely require it for and a tow truck will cost to much. I am willing to compensate with beverages of a negotiated type and quantity or other such agreement. Any help would be greatful.

The missus and I are on holidays from QLD with the EH staying at a mates place in country NSW and found that the gear box seal to the tail shaft is leaking.
Can anyone tell me either the number or the size of the oil seal for the tail of a crash box 3 speed? Id Like to be able to phone around and find one before I go pull the old one out to get the size then find that I cant get one where I am at the moment. Any help would be apreciated.

At present my EH has a BXV2 carbie with an adjustable main jet, Im having trouble getting the main jet adjusted properly as it is either running to lean and pinging or running to ritch and fouling the plugs and blowing soot out the pipe(its driving me nuts!). I have to do something with the carbie anyway as ive found its leaking fuel. I have a few spare carbies laying around, one has an adjustable main jet, the others have the following size main jets, .065, Im asumming this is to suit a smaller engine such as 138ci? the other jets are .051, I read in holdenpedia that this size is to suit 186 and the other is a .055 main jet that is sugested to be for 202.

Im doing the harmonic balancer on the EH but its been years since the old man and I did the last one on my old Torana. Now neither of us can remember how we got the new one on. He seems to think we used a bolt and washer to pull the ballancer on to the crank shaft but im not sure if there is a threded hole in the end of the crank to do this. The only other way we can think of doing it is using a block of timber and a hammer to push it on. Ive looked in all my books and they dont go into enough detail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a few things on ebay at the moment that some of you guys may or maynot be looking for. I think the starting bids are fair however if you think otherwise and something doesnt sell let me know after and we can come to some sort of araingment. Has anyone got a colour wiring diagram for WB 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder they can scan and email me?
Im doing a conversion to V8 and need to know what wires went where for the 6cylinder so I can wire up the 308.

If anyone around Caboolture/Redcliff area or southeast Queensland for that matter has a set of engine mount brakets to suit 308 into WB that they can part with Id apreciate it, let me know your price. Normaly Id try the wreckers ect but its the weekend so Ill have to wait till Monday if I have no luck getting any over the weekend.

Ive just had the displeasure(I wish I could say pleasure) of having to make a couple of insurance clames with Shannons recently and was wondering if anyone else has had any dealings with them when the time comes to make a clame and what they thought of there service and any other thoughts? Any one know of any other simmilar types of insurance companys that are any good when dealing with old cars ect?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what diamiter bundy tube is used for the brake lines in late 60's early 70's holdens and also what diamiter the fule line is. Im trying to sell some things on ebay for the first time. My question for those educated in the strange ways of ebay and in particular paypal is how long does it take for them to verify a bank account? I want to get this stuff on there while im on leave and not before i go back.

Hi guys, I just got a WB Kingswood ute that did have a blue 202 in it but has been turfed, Id like to put either a blue 253 or 308 in it and if posible retain the 3 speed manual column shift box. there are a few things Im unsure about such as engine mountings from 6 to 8 cyl, are there any difrences? Will I be needing a difrent bell housing to suit the 8 cyl engine and will the 6 cyl 3 speed box couple up to the 8 cyl engine ok? Is there anything else I should be wary of? I have looked at a 308 from a vh and can get hold of the correct sump and pick up to suite wb but just want to find out about these things before I comit to anything.

I have herd suggestions that there where only 64 HT GTS monaros sent over to South Africa, can anyone conferm this or shed some light as to how accurate this info might be? Im talking about the monaro badged HT's not the Chev SS baged HG's. Any help/info whatever on this sbuject would be greatly apreaciated

I go away to work for 3 months and come home to be lost in oldholden.com, when did all this happen? is it better or not so better?

I still have a heap of parts taken from a ht wagon that i have to get rid of. They include:

rat trap clutch set up
manual pedal box
spare red engine water pump and fuel pump, radiator hoses ect
there are a few good cuts in the body to, the floors are pretty good so if anyone wants any parts i dont need for my monaro get in quick before i go back to sea and my olds sent it to the crusher. if there is anything i have not listed ask as i have forgoten to put a few things in here

Also i have a trimatic selector and center tray consile thing to suit LC torana and some windscreens and other odd and ends that i no longer need

Just wondering if rear beaver panels are the same between body styles? they look similar but are they? ie sedan v wagon. any info would be tops.

Hi all, im back from my first 3 months of sea time and my olds have told me to get rid of the kingswood wagon out teh front of there house. iv got all the parts i need off it and its pretty much all there. if its still here by the time i go back to sea then its going to the dump. not my choice either. the car is in caboolture, north of brisbane. ill negotiate a fair price.
