advice wanted
By fox0008 02/12/10@20:50 LetsCruisegday im trying to find some info for an old vechile im workin on, the vechile was converted from a positive earth with a generator to a negative earth withan alternator, the vechile would start and then run roughly and then stop, so we tracked the problem down to a faulty coil, replaced the coil, the vechile ran fine then the same problem happened again, we are assuming an electrical fault is the cause, the coil would get extremely hot when the vechile was running and when the vechile wasnt running and had thekey on, any ideas on where to start looking? cheers foxy

By fox0008 18/04/10@19:37 LetsCruisegday,
just wonderin wats the best way to drop the front end of my wb a few inches. i spose cutting springs isnt advisable. i dont wont ot on its guts, but i dnt wont it to be mistaken for a 4x4. lol

rear link
By fox0008 14/03/10@10:48 LetsCruisegday, i just pulled my ute down to the chassis and was looking at the rear suspension. when i noticed that the front link of the rear suspension was held in by a bolt with no nut. both sides were like this so i assumed that it must of been threaded plate. doesnt seem to be. there isnt enough bolt to fit a bolt to fit a nut on so im wondering if its been cut. if any1 knows how the setups spose to be please share,
cheers foxy

tarp clips
By fox0008 04/03/10@16:29 LetsCruiseg'day fellas
just wondering how you go about removing the plastic tarp clips that go around the outside of the ute body.they have 3 rivets or sumthin. it for a respray, would it be better just to mask them? want to do it without breaking them,
cheers Foxy

(ie. new front end, paint job and re trim)

advice welcomed
By fox0008 01/11/09@15:57 LetsCruisegday, im considering doing up my former muck around farm ute into my first car.its a 1984 wb with a blue 202 and the old 3 on the tree. i am not bad with cars, so i consider myself capable of this challenge. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on panel beating as one of the front quater panels has a fair dint along with the door. i was wondering whether it was worth fixing them or just replacing them. i also intend to strip the ute down, spray it and rebuild the engine, having already rebuilt a holden red 179. and also if anyone knew how much a general resto project costs that wuld help too. as im not well funded haha
any help appreciated, riley
