Howdy all just a quick air con question. I just made a bracket for a electric solenoid to attach it to my Impco 425 gas mixer to pickup the idle when the air con is turn.
Now question is the green positive wire coming from the back. Where do I wire this to.
Do I tap in to the wire that go's to the pump?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers Shane

Just got the latest issue of Australian Classic Car magazine - has some good stories on Old Holdens. One is Troy Cassar-Daly who has a nice EH and the other is a story of a family with an FC an FC and an EJ. Good read.

No more than 4c litre as from 1st January because it's hurting the other fuel retailers.
http://www.accc.gov....
Bullsh!t.
The truth of the not-really-changed-at-all situation is in the last paragraph. Discounts in excess of 4c litre must be funded from fuel sales, includeing other items at the fuel service station.

Hi Guys,
I feel a bit silly. But I've decreased my engine bay and the engine will not start. It's been a good 3-4 hours and the best it's done was to start but as soon as I put in drive it stopped.
I've checked the distributor and it's fine.
Any tips for me????
Thanks

Hi everyone, the bucket seats in my kingswood are looking a bit sad, the only really good parts are the rails. I have been quoted around $1000 to get them reupholstered. What I would really like to do is fit some later model seats. Wondering what kind would be relatively easy to fit to the existing rails. At my local wreckers I can pick up agood set of buckets for $100 bucks, any make any model, so if anyone has done a conversion like this I would love to hear from them. cheers.

Hi Holdeners, Hope you all had a great xmas,
I am looking at a happ90 hoist, will fit in garage without moving beams too high.
Has anyone had anything to do with these hoists, can you bolt to 4inch concrete garage floor or do you need thicker concrete.
Cheers Peter.
sorry don't know how to link happ to here rather be in garage than on computer!

Does anyone have an pic/drawing of how the spring in the ratchet mechanism of the handle fits? Any help would be appreciated. Mine has come out, I've no idea why - it's not broken and the mechanism works OK, just the spring that holds the pawl in place is adrift. Thanks , Rod

Hi guys.Is there a bush.bearing or spigot that goes in the internal steering shaft. The steering box has been taken out and the shaft just seems to be dangling there. Cheers

Hi all,
I was just wondering what car widths were on different cars mirror to mirror.
I have limited side access, and was just asking if people could post up what they have, old and new, and what the width of the vehicle is.
I have looked at alot of car specs, and google, but can't seem to find dimensions mirror to mirror.
Your help is kindly appreciated,
