Many thanks to OldHolden

Hey Guys

With many thanks to the fellow oldholdeners, fitting the blue 2850 into my HJ was a complete success. Sure it had a few hickups on the way but it made it. Now I can go and enjoy cruising with a twin throat Varajet.

Cheers guys

(P.S Red motor extractors can be made to fit a Blue ;)

Old Austin: part 2

Finally!

The 186/Aussie 4 speed conversion into our Austin truck is complete and drivable in just over a month. Just need to adjust the clutch and put the wooden tray back on and she's good to go.
Just shows what can be done with a bit of imagination and hard work. Can't wait to see what its like with a load on.

Here are a few photos if you're interested http://gallery.oldho...

Cheers, Tom

Old Holdens at work

My uncle and family, heading off for a working holiday around Oz (late 60s). Drove 300 miles and found a town they liked and stayed. They're still there :)

Jeff.
