Holly Sniper EFI 2bbl or 4bbl ???

I am trying to decide on 2 barrel 2300 or 4 barrel Holly Sniper EFI for my EH.

I have a reasonably worked 202 blue motor.
The head is pretty good it used to be on a speedway car (red block with a balanced bottom end and produce power to +7000rpm.
The bottom end is a reco blue 202 with standard bore.

I currently have 465 holly on it with a Cain manifold that I modified to fit the blue head.

What I want to know is should I run the 2bbl system on the 4bbl manifold with an adapter or put a blue motor manifold back on there with a 350 holly adapter plate?

wiring harness

A gentleman in my car club is doing a retirement project, hes 71, and just came back on a over seas trip.
He has a 71 HQ Prem 25th Anniversary, and the wiring has been chewed by a little furry bugger in the dash area.
My question is,
Has anyone rewired there car with one of those pre kit wiring harness from Rare Spares ?????
We thinking, better to be safe than sorry and just rewire the hole car, JUST IN CASE there is more the hungry little bugger chewed.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Holden Red HP Block Identification?

Hi all.
I've been given an old holden red motor today, and on one side it's stamped HP. On the other side the engine number is M101XXX. Inside the bore, is't got repco flat-top pistons "RA2027 STD". I'd assume that the motor's had a re-bore to 202 specs?, but what size would have it been as factory? what was it originally out of? and what's its likely displacement?

Cheers!

Need to vent!

I was saving up a few jobs to do for today as I don't get much time to work on the Holden. I had to change the speedo cable, bleed the brakes and I had to lengthen the tail shaft for the v8 which I picked up 2 weeks ago. After bleeding the brakes and mopping up the fluid cause of leaks (new lines) I took out the new speedo cable to find the inner cable was too short. You could not even see the gearbox end. Well that has to go back. Next I moved on to the tail shaft that was lengthened. Went to do it up at the diff to find that the uni's are wrong.

FJ van

As tim would say "Straight to the watch list!"
I dont know much about these things. But I know they are rare. People post a pic of a grey, restored FJ fan up on this forum occasionally. I wonder how many were made? I dont know if the "No tags" part will make much of a difference when its pretty obvious what you have. Time will tell though

Iocked keys in my HK ute

The old ‘locked my keys in the car’ trick.
Any simple suggestions to getting them out without having to call RACQ? Only just bought the car and yet to take up roadside assistance. Maiden voyage today..
