HR Tyres

I've got some quite old (20 year old) tyres on my HR and they are looking hard and have a few cracks in the tread - also 4 different tyres - so thinking of getting a new set...originals were 6.5 x 13 - which equates to 165/80 in metric...can get a good deal (Bridgetsone at $61 each fitted) on 175/70s - which are a common size now...is anyone using this size on their stock HR and do they seem ok re profile? They would be 3.2% less in diameter...185/70 is closer in overall profile but less common and not as good price..

Wheel arch trim dent removal

Hi guys,

I purchased another HQ on the weekend as I have plenty of acreage to store them. It has decent wheel arch trims however there are a few dents in some places.

Has anyone successfully removed the dents from these without damaging the trims further?

Iโ€™m very interested to know.

Thanks in advance.

WB factory AC Fan motor acting Strange

I have a Wb with Factory Air
For some reason lately when the engine temp goes up from sitting at lights etc and the thermofan comes on, after a bit the ac fan starts acting up as if its loosing power.
It slows down and sort of pulses
It only does it on 1,2,3 fan settings. if i switch it to 4 its Ok
I felt the fan motor and it was Hot
I was thinking its the motor itself as the fan resistors are working
As soon as the engine temp goes down the fan works again
Its like the amount of heat in the engine bay is adding to the issue
